description
COVER FOR A LIGHT LINE SYSTEM, ARRANGEMENT WITH SUCH A COVER, AND LIGHT LINE SYSTEM The invention relates to a cover for covering a light exit opening delimited by a mounting rail of a lighting system, the mounting rail being designed to receive a lamp with a light source for generating a light. Furthermore, the invention comprises an arrangement with such a cover and an optically active element for influencing the light, and a corresponding light band system.
The applicant sells such a light band system under the trade name SLOTLIGHT infinity. FIG. 6 shows a schematic cross section through this light band system, which shows a corresponding mounting rail 100 and - merely indicated here - a lamp 101 which is held in the mounting rail 100. The luminaire 101 has an LED light source 102 (LED: light-emitting diode) for generating a light. The mounting rail 100 defines a light exit opening 103 for the light, which is covered with the translucent cover 104.
For assembly, the cover 104 can be rolled up into a roll, for example carried over a shoulder and unrolled piece by piece and connected to the mounting rail 100 in a latching manner, so that the light exit opening 103 is increasingly covered. The optical properties of the cover 104 are fixed and can practically not be changed.
[0004] DE 10 2014 204 136 A1 discloses a rollable profile part which is suitable for covering a channel.
The invention has for its object to provide a corresponding improved cover, an arrangement comprising a corresponding cover and an optically effective element, and a corresponding improved light band system. In particular, it is intended to open up the possibility of being able to modify the cover in a particularly suitable manner with reference to the optical properties.
This object is achieved according to the invention with the objects mentioned in the independent claims. Particular embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, a cover is provided for covering a light outlet opening delimited by a mounting rail of a continuous-row system, the mounting rail being designed to accommodate a lamp with a light source for generating light. The cover has a holding device for holding at least one optically active element for influencing the light.
The holding device allows the cover to be connected particularly simply and practically to the optically active element. In this way, the light emission properties of the continuous row system can be set or changed particularly simply and effectively.
[0009] The cover is preferably designed to be rolled up or to be rolled up. This makes it comparatively easy to install - especially when the cover is very long; In this way it is advantageously possible to achieve long coverage without a joint.
Preferably, the cover has a plate-shaped support area through which a particularly flat support surface for supporting the element is formed. In this way, the optically effective element can be positioned in a particularly suitable manner relative to the cover.
[0011] The cover is preferably designed to extend along a longitudinal axis, wherein it is parallel to the longitudinal / 13 and adjoins the support area on one side

Patent office axis extending connection area for connection to the mounting rail and wherein the holding device comprises a, formed on the connection area retaining lip. This allows a particularly suitable fixation of the at least one optically active element on the cover.
[0012] The connection area preferably also consists of a more elastic material than the support area. In this way it can be achieved, in particular, that the cover can be connected to the mounting rail particularly easily and reliably with suitable inherent stability of the support area.
Preferably, the retaining lip is directed towards the support surface. This enables a particularly suitable and reliable connection to be achieved between the at least one optically active element and the cover.
Preferably, the cover is designed symmetrically with respect to a central plane extending parallel to the longitudinal axis and penetrating the support area, so that the cover has a further connection area with a corresponding further holding lip, which is designed symmetrically to the first-mentioned connection area. This also supports a particularly suitable and reliable arrangement of the optically active element.
Technically advantageous, the cover can be designed as a profile part.
Technically advantageous, the cover can be made in a two-component injection molding process.
The at least one optically active element can be particularly suitably connected to the cover if the cover is designed such that the at least one optically active element can be inserted or inserted into the cover for the intended connection with the cover.
According to a further aspect of the invention, an arrangement is provided which comprises a cover according to the invention and the at least one optically active element, the at least one optically active element being arranged on the cover by the holding device. This arrangement can be particularly suitably mounted on a corresponding mounting rail of a trunking system.
The optically active element is preferably a film, in particular an optically diffusely acting or light-directing film.
Furthermore, in particular the optically active element is arranged lying on the support surface, wherein it is positioned on two opposite sides by the holding lip and the further holding lip or is arranged pressed against the support surface.
According to a still further aspect of the invention, a light band system is provided which has a support rail which extends along a longitudinal axis and an elongate light fixture which is arranged in the support rail, the light fixture having a light source for generating light and being by the mounting rail is limited to a light exit opening for the exit of the light. Furthermore, the light band system has an elongated translucent cover according to the invention, which extends along the longitudinal axis and is arranged to cover the light exit opening.
The invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment and with reference to the drawings. Show it:
1 shows a cross-sectional sketch through a light band system according to the invention, the mounting rail of the light band system being covered by a cover according to the invention, [0024] FIG. 2 shows a corresponding cross-sectional sketch around a connection area of the cover,

Patent Office [0025] FIG. 3 a sketch corresponding to FIG. 2, the optically active element being separated, [0026] FIG. 4 a sketch of a cover according to the invention, wound up into a roll, [0027] FIG. 5 a sketch of the roll from a different angle and [0028] FIG. 6 shows a light band system according to the prior art.
Fig. 1 shows a cross-sectional sketch through a light band system according to the invention, the light band system having a, extending along a longitudinal axis support rail 1 and a arranged in the support rail 1 - here only very schematically indicated - lamp 2. Fig. 1 shows a cross section normal to the longitudinal axis.
In the example shown, the mounting rail 1 is shaped like a profile and has a first approximation U-shaped cross section, so that a first U-leg 30, a second US leg 31 and one, the two U-legs 30, 31 with each other connecting connecting leg 32 are formed. The lamp 2 is arranged between the two U-legs 30, 31 of the mounting rail 1.
The luminaire 2 has a light source 3 for generating light; The light source 3 can be an LED light source, for example, which comprises a circuit board 21 and LEDs 22 arranged thereon. The LEDs 22 are arranged such that they extend along a line parallel to the longitudinal axis, so that the light source as a whole is elongated and extends parallel to the longitudinal axis.
Through the mounting rail 1 or the two free end regions of the two U-legs 30, 31, a light exit opening 4 for the exit of the light is limited. To this extent, the continuous row system can be designed like the well-known SLOTLIGHT infinity continuous row system mentioned at the beginning.
The mounting rail 1 generally has a greater extension than the lamp 2 along the longitudinal axis, and is therefore longer than the lamp 2. In particular, the mounting rail 1 can be designed so long that several corresponding lamps forming a row along the longitudinal axis the mounting rail 1 can be arranged. A total of several corresponding support rails can also be provided, each of which is arranged adjacent to one another on the end face along the longitudinal axis. In this way, it is possible in particular for the light strip system to produce very long light strips or light lines; The length of such a light band can be up to 20 m, for example.
The light exit opening 4 is covered with an at least partially transparent cover 5 according to the invention. The cover 5 has a holding device 6 for holding at least one optically active element 7 for influencing the light. The optically active element 7 can be, for example, a film, for example an optically diffusely acting or light-directing film.
Preferably, the cover 5 is designed such that it can - as outlined in FIG. 4 - be wound up into a roll R if it is separated from the mounting rail 1. 5, the roller R is outlined from a different direction. For mounting on the mounting rail 1, the cover 5 wound up to form the roll R can, for example, be carried over a shoulder and unrolled piece by piece and connected to the mounting rail 1 in a latching manner, so that the light exit opening 4 is increasingly covered.
An arrangement according to the invention can be formed by connecting the cover 5 to the optically active element 7 with the aid of the holding device 6. The design is in particular such that this arrangement, like the cover 5 as such, can be rolled up or wound up and handled. Accordingly, the at least one optically active element 7 is preferably designed so thin or elastic that the arrangement can be easily wound up into a roll, for example into a roll with a diameter of less than 1 m; a suitably simple attachment of the arrangement to the mounting rail 1 is made possible.

Patent Office [0037] A partial area of the separated cover 5 is sketched in cross section in FIG. 3. The mounting rail system preferably comprises a plurality of corresponding optically active elements 7, 7 ', which differ in their optical properties, so that one of the elements 7, 7' can optionally be connected to the cover 5; in this way it is easy to choose between different optical effects.
The design is particularly preferred such that - as outlined in FIG. 2 - several, for example at least two corresponding optically active elements 7, 7 'can be connected to the cover 5 with the aid of the holding device 6, for example at least two superimposed foils. The selection options for optical properties are further increased.
For example, it can be films of different materials and colors, which are used, for example, to glare the light and / or to set accents or the like.
As is the case in the example shown, the cover 5 preferably has a plate-like support area 8, through which a particularly flat support surface 9 for supporting the element 7 or the at least one element 7 is formed. When the cover 5 is mounted on the mounting rail 1 as provided, the plate-like support area 8 extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the mounting rail 1.
[0041] In particular, the support area 8 is at least partially translucent. Furthermore, the support area 8 is expediently designed such that it can be bent about a bending axis in the above-mentioned winding or rolling up, which axis is oriented parallel to the support surface 9 and at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the cover 5.
[0042] The support surface 9 can be used in a particularly suitable manner to bring about a secure positioning of the optically active element 7 relative to the cover 5.
[0043] Overall, the cover 5 extends along the longitudinal axis in the assembled state. It has on one side - with reference to FIG. 1 on the right side - a connecting region 10, which adjoins the support region 8 and also extends parallel to the longitudinal axis, for connection to the mounting rail 1 - here with the free end region of the second U. - Leg 31 of the mounting rail 1.
[0044] The connection area 10 is advantageously of profile-like design, the profile axis — in the assembled state of the cover 5 — being oriented parallel to the longitudinal axis. As shown by way of example in FIG. 2, the connection area 10 has, for example, a V-shaped cross-section in a first approximation, a first V-leg 40 having its free end adjoining the support area 8 and a second V-leg 41 for the latching connection the free end region of the second U-leg 31 of the mounting rail 1 is designed.
With regard to the mentioned windability of the cover 5, it is expedient if the connection area 10 does not extend too far beyond a plane E, which is defined by the support surface 9. For example, it can be provided that the connection area 10 has a height h with respect to this plane E, for which the following applies in relation to a width b of the support area 8: h <0.30 b, preferably h <0.25 b, particularly preferably h <0.20 b. The width b can be, for example, less than 20 cm, preferably less than 15 cm. The design can also be such that the width b is more than 80%, preferably more than 90% of the width B of the light exit opening 4.
The holding device 6 for holding the optically active element 7 comprises a holding lip 11 formed on the connection area 10. In particular, the holding lip 11 can be formed on the first V-leg 40, specifically on the opposite side from the second V-leg 41 Page. In particular, the holding lip 11 is formed directed towards the support surface 9.
Particularly suitable mechanical properties can be achieved if the Ver

Patent office binding area 10 consists of a more elastic material than the support area 8. This is particularly advantageous in relation to the ability to be wound up.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, the cover 5 - viewed in the mounted state on the mounting rail 1 - is further preferably symmetrical with respect to a central plane M extending parallel to the longitudinal axis and penetrating the support area 8, so that the cover 5 has a further connection region 10 ', which is designed symmetrically with respect to the first-mentioned connection region 10, with a corresponding further holding lip 11'. The optically active element 7 can thus be suitably positioned on both sides with respect to the contact surface 9. Accordingly, the further connection area 10 ′ is designed, in particular, for connection to the free end area of the first U-leg 31 of the mounting rail 1.
The design described can, in particular, cause the at least one optically active element 7 not to accidentally jump out of its position or intended relative position with respect to the cover 5 when handling the arrangement, for example when winding or unwinding.
The design is also advantageous such that the at least one optically active element 7 is held by the holding device 6 on the cover 5, even if the cover 5 is not connected to the mounting rail 1. Thus, in a first step, the optical element 4 can be connected to the at least one optical element 7 in order to produce the light band system and the arrangement formed in this way can then be mounted on the mounting rail 1 in a subsequent step.
Preferably, the design is such that the optically active element 7 rests on the support surface 9 and is positioned on two opposite sides by the holding lip 11 and the further holding lip 11 'or is arranged pressed against the contact surface 9.
The connection area 10 is designed, for example, to be opaque. Accordingly, with regard to a particularly large-area light emission, it is advantageous if the holding lip 11 does not extend too far towards the central plane M. For example, it can be provided that the holding lip 11 extends from the corresponding lateral boundary of the support area 8 by a dimension a to the central plane M, that is, inwards, the following relationship applying with respect to the width b of the support area 8: a <0.20 b, preferably a <0.15 b, particularly preferably a <0.10 b.
A particularly simple way of manufacturing the cover 5 is made possible when the cover 5 is designed as a profile part; in particular, the cover 5 can be manufactured in a two-component injection molding process. In this way, the two connection areas 10, 10 ′ can be made more elastic than the support area 8.
The described cover 5 and the arrangement are particularly suitable for a design with long lengths. For example, lengths of up to 20 m can be provided. This is particularly advantageous with regard to a light strip system which, as mentioned above, is designed to produce light strips of corresponding length. With this design, a correspondingly long cover can be created without a joint. The at least one optically active element 7 is also preferably long. Overall, a particularly even appearance of the light strip can be achieved in this way.
To connect the at least one optically active element 7 to the cover 5, it can be provided that the element 7 is threaded with respect to the longitudinal axis at an end region of the cover 5 between the support surface 9 and the two retaining lips 11, 11 ' and then pulled in along the longitudinal axis. The at least one optically active element 7 is preferably also very long, in particular approximately or as long as the cover 5. If several elements 7, 7 'with the cover

Patent office 5 are to be connected, these can either be retracted accordingly one after the other or first connected to one another and then retracted together in the connected state.
Alternatively, the design can be such that the at least one optically active element 7 can be inserted between the two connection areas 10, 10 '.
